The Canadian Centre for Psychedelic Healing will open a location in Sault Ste. Marie next week, what it says will be the first clinic here to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and low-dose ketamine treatments for a “multitude” of mental health issues.

These low-dose ketamine treatments are for “treatment-resistant” depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction, chronic pain, and eating disorders, the company said in a release.

Ian Ruberry, a consultant with the company, and its director of operations are in the Sault this week, setting up the clinic for a Monday opening…
